Meridian Beach is designed to work with and extend the natural environment of Gull Lake. The main features of the development are:

• A canal that is over 1 km long that brings a water feature into close proximity to the new cottage lots

  • docks and boathouses are allowed on the canal so boat access and use is much more convenient

  • part of the canal is a permanent ecological reserve

  • the canal provides a scenic feature with bridges for interesting views and walks

  • boat launch facilities are on the canal

• Fully serviced lots as described in Services and Environment section

• A group of connecting trails and pathways go through the development and access all features

• A central developed sandy beach area accessible to all lots provides attractive swimming while allowing the rest of the shoreline to remain natural

• Meridian Beach does provide for public access to the paths and swimming areas. Modest facilities such as washrooms and change rooms close to the beach will be convenient for residents, guest and visitors alike.
